7 Things I'm Saving Up For ♥

1. Opal Ring ♥ Etsy
3. Baby G Rose Gold Watch ♥ Pascoes / Amazon
7. Lucia Skirted Coat ♥ Forever New

And that's everything I've been saving up for recently! Here's a little summary of some of the things on my list!

1. Opal Ring ♥ Etsy

I've been looking for an opal ring for quite some time because I've always wanted to wear my birth stone as a ring - but I swear opal rings are so damn hard to find anywhere. (Unless they're fake and plastic) So yeah, I forgot all about wanting them until the other day when I went into a jewellery store and found the most gorgeous opal ring ever. It wasn't like most opal rings when the gem sits flat on the ring. It was like a solitaire with delicate little diamonds and engravings on the side. Sooo pretty. So unattainable. $1000. *Sigh*

Anyways, this is the prettiest opal ring I could find and it's pretty cheap (only $65 NZD!) - except I'm scared that I might order it in the wrong size. I'm still debating with myself whether I should get this or not, considering it's pretty risky to order jewellery online - and I really want a genuine opal! I mean isn't the point of this list to save up for something good HAHAHA. #conflicted

Isn't it so cute?!
7. Lucia Skirted Coat ♥ Forever New

The other day when I went into Forever New, I was begging my mum to buy me one of their pastel coats, which by the way are so freaking adorable. But sadly when I tried them on, they didn't fit right on me - they looked super awkward and bulky which sucked cause they looked so cute on the hangers! Then my mum pointed out this coat which I probably wouldn't have looked at due to the colour - but the cutting and design of it is so lovely when you wear it! The skirt flares out so nicely and the whole coat itself is really streamline and fitting on me. I would've definitely bought it if it had been in like a lighter colour like beige or camel - but navy and pastel? I don't know.

Anyways that's all for this post! It's a little shorter than most of my usual posts but I hope you don't mind! It feels like I'm updating a lot more nowadays hehehe.

Love,

Michelley

April/May 2014 Haul ♥

Oh my god it's been nearly three weeks since I last posted. Hohoho I guess I'm not getting any more productive or better at churning out more blog posts. I swear it's because I've been super busy exercising but more on that next time! Super sorry for the lack of posts!

Anyways, today I'm going to be showing you what I've been buying recently!

1&2. Pink and Grey Sweatshirts ♥ Mirrou

I actually got these a while ago but yeah, basically these are just two fluffy sweatshirts from Mirrou. They were so freaking cheap - I think they were like $10 or something which is why I had to buy one in pink and one in grey! Not to mention, they're surprisingly warm which is obviously great since it's almost winter here in New Zealand.

3. White Layer Dress ♥ Mirrou

Also from Mirrou, I got this really cute dress which flares out so nicely when you spin around in it. I also really like the little pompom type detailing around the neckline, so yeah! I've been really into the whole cute but casual thing recently and this fits the description perfectly!

4. Heather Grey Crochet Top ♥ Mirrou

Oh and you might've seen this top in one of my OOTD posts but I also got this from Mirrou and argh - I just love it. I've been really into the whole heather grey type thing in the moment and even though the top looks a little awkward hanging up, it fits nicely when you actually wear it!

5. Giant Wombat Soft Toy ♥ Market

It's a wombat!
If you know me well, you'll know that I'm absolutely obsessed with soft toys so when I saw this lying on a table at market, I knew I had to take it home with me. You guys have no idea how huge this guy is - it's like the size of my dog - maybe slightly bigger! I just thought this wombat was too cute to resist and if I didn't buy him right then, I'd regret it forever HAHAHA (not even kidding).

6. Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner ♥ (Won)

I actually won this on Facebook a while ago but it finally arrived in my mailbox the other day! I'm not sure if I like this eyeliner or not - the formula is nice and black and everything but the brush/stick thing isn't really my thing. It's a little hard to use cause it's so unflexible which is kind of good and kind of bad at the same time.

7. Butter London Nail Polishes in Bobby Sparkler, Cake-hole and Sprog ♥ Red Bucket Sales

I'm actually so in love with all of these colours - especially the metallic silver. It's so nice and opaque, I can't wait to layer the holographic nail polish I got over it hehehe. Since they were only $10 at a makeup sale I went to last week, I decided to get all three since they're usually $30 each in New Zealand!

8. Rimmel London Metal Rush Nail Polish in Pearly Queen ♥ Red Bucket Sales

You guys have no idea how happy I was when I found this nail polish! It's such a gorgeous holographic nail polish and it's wonderfully sheer which means I can layer it over different nail polishes! I'm actually beyond obsessed with holographic everything - I've been looking for a holographic skirt and have a holographic satchel on its way!

9. Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush ♥ Red Bucket Sales

And last but not least, I finally got a dry shampoo! I'm still a bit hesitant about using this cause my hair is black and apparently dry shampoos leave a white cast but oh well! This only cost me $8 for the full sized version so it's not too bad of a risk!

So that's all I've been buying recently! I actually bought a pink fluffy cardigan from Glassons and a few other things here and there - but I'm too lazy to take any more photos HAHAHAHA. I actually haven't been buying a lot of things recently - most of it seems to be boring things like toiletries and whatnot but since we're coming into winter and I don't really have a lot of wintery clothes, I might treat myself and do some online shopping hohoho.

What have you guys been buying recently?

Lots of Love,

Michelle

Pepsi Party House + MKTO ♥

Hello my lovelies! Today I'm going to be sharing with you some of the photos I took when my friends and I went to see MKTO at the Pepsi Party House in Auckland!

But first, let me take a selfie.

... *Crickets chirp*

But seriously, quick update before I show you everything! Did you guys notice anything different about my blog today? If you didn't, you must be new here but if you've been here before, I changed the theme of my blog! *Yay!*

Okay so before it looked like this!

And now it looks like this!

It's a completely different look compared to my past themes which were all super pink and girly - but I'm really happy with how simple and clean it looks now! And surprisingly it didn't take me long at all!

Usually when I change my theme, I spend more than a day fiddling with all the codes and whatnot - but this only took me two or three hours! Basically I was up at 3am, completely wide awake due to eating gummy bears at like 1am (which by the way is really stupid) and I felt this need to revamp my blog HAHAHA. So yeah, I spent the next few hours googling everything and being super picky about the fonts and tada! Here we are!

Onwards with the real post!

Last Sunday, my friends and I went to see MKTO perform at the Pepsi Party House at Shed 10 (in Auckland) ! The concert was for teens 15-18 years old only and to get tickets, you had to win them by entering competitions and finding them online and whatnot. My friend's sister won some so my friend, Hazel took May, Lanny and moi to see them and ASDFGHJKL IT WAS THE BEST NIGHT EVER.

Look how close we were to the stage! Even though the concert only started at 6:30pm and they only came two hours later, we actually got there a lot earlier (3pm) to queue up so we could be really close! AND OH MY GOD IT WAS SO WORTH IT.

I've actually never been to a concert before (unless you count a Chinese concert my parents dragged me along to HAHAHA) so this was freaking amazing! The whole atmosphere was so cool and even though they weren't the best live, screaming and jumping up and down dancing along with them singing was fab.

BUT GUESS WHAT HAPPENED. HALF WAY THROUGH THE CONCERT, I RAN OUT OF MEMORY ON MY PHONE. WORST THING EVER. THERE'S NOTHING GREAT ABOUT FURIOUSLY UNINSTALLING APPS WHILE EVERYONE AROUND YOU IS SCREAMING ALONG TO YOUR FAVOURITE SONG.

It was so freaking hot in there because everyone was so close to each other. Everyone kept trying to push their way to the front and there was absolutely no personal space oh my god. Like there wasn't even space for me to put my arm down HAHAHA. So for the entire three hours, my arm pretty much dangled in the air because I had nowhere to put it... well unless I wanted to touch people's butts and bits HAHAHA.

Oh and I forgot to mention! At the beginning of the concert, people brought around pizza and drinks to everyone which was a really nice touch! They also had a snackbar and a drinkbar? at the back but we didn't check it out cause we didn't want to lose our spots.

So yeah, that's all for tonight! The house party was such a great way to end da holidays but now I have a physics test on Friday which means it's officially time to panic because I actually have no idea what I'm doing.

Lots of Love,

Michelley ♥
